Jonathan Perkins

Jonathan Perkins (Ph.D., University of Kansas) is Director of the Open Language Resource Center. He is co-author of the introductory Russian curriculum Mezhdu nami, founder of the Language OER Conference, and has led the development of Open Educational Resources in more than a dozen languages. He also served as Principal Investigator and Director of KU's Title VI Language Resource Center grant (2018-2022) and its Language Training Center grants (2019-2025), which provided language instruction and cultural training to active-duty and reserve military personnel. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, he oversees the center's technical infrastructure, including instructional spaces and online resources.
