MWALLT 2024 Logistics

The Midwest Association for Language Learning Technology will host its annual conference simultaneously at the University of Iowa, the University of Kansas and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee on Saturday, March 2nd. For information about the program and to register for the conference, see the MWALLT website.  The information below is intended for those attending the conference at the University of Kansas site.

Arrival & Parking

The MWALLT 2024 conference will be held on the 4th floor of Wescoe Hall, which is located at 1445 Jayhawk Boulevard. A picture is provided to the right and there is a large sign outside the building. The easiest way to navigate to Wescoe Hall is through the main campus entrance at the corner of Iowa Street (US-59) and 15th Street. As the event is happening over the weekend, you can park for free in lots 36 and 39 along Memorial Drive. Parking lots can be viewed in more detail on the KU Lawrence Campus map. The Check-In desk for the event is in 4070 Wescoe Hall, which is located on the fourth (and top) floor of the building. To reach Room 4070, there are external staircases on either end of the building and an internal staircase in the middle of the building. There is an accessible entrance provided on the east side of Wescoe, with the elevator midway down the main hall on the left. The ground floor of the building on the east side is the 3rd floor, so the 4th floor of Wescoe is just one floor up.  Please note that the OLRC has an entrance on both hallways. Just look for the blue OLRC sign located near each doorway.

Lunch

Lunch will be provided to all attendees who register before noon CST on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. More information on the menu will be provided here as it becomes available.

For those registering later, there are other food options available in the Kansas Union.
