The Foreign Language Association of Missouri represents all language instructors in the state of Missouri, and seeks to promote high standards of professionalism and participation in programs pertaining to foreign language education.
Fort Hays State University is located in Hays Kansas and has an enrollment of approximately 15,000 students. It offers certificate and degree programs at the associate, bachelor's and master's levels through 31 academic departments, including the Department of Modern Languages. Among the languages offered at JCCC are Chinese, French, German, and Spanish.
Johnson County Community College is located in Overland Park, Kansas and has an enrollment of approximately 18,000 students. It offers 110 degree and certificate options in 48 programs, including foreign languages. Among the languages offered at JCCC are Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
The World Languages Program for the State of Kansas works to create high standards in the language classroom, to provide professional development opportunities for educators, and to promote greater cooperation among stakeholders throughout primary, secondary and post-secondary contexts.
The Kansas World Language Association seeks to promote and improve the teaching of world languages and cultures, to provide continuing professional development, and to encourage the spirit of cooperation among world language educators in the state of Kansas.
